The Watch hub

Three pages: Featured (a spotlight game, who is live, and rows picked for what you play), Live (streams with race and rank filters), and Replays (the whole public archive as a filterable table).

Watch is the spectating lane, in three pages: Featured, Live and Replays. Landing on the site puts you on Featured.

The top of the page is the Spotlight beside Live now. The spotlight is one game worth your time: the highest-rated game of the freshest window that has one, in your main matchup when the site knows what you play, and it says why ("Highest-rated TvZ this month · You play TvZ"). It shows both players with race, rating and league, the map, the length and the date, and both openings, each player's first structures with their timings. Live now is the biggest SC2 streams on right now, with a See all door.

Below it, rows of games, each labelled with why it is there, from what the site really knows about you: Because you play TvZ (pro games in your matchups, with a tab per matchup), Because you play Patch Clash (the week's best-rated ladder games, if you play it), a friend's newest public games, Your games, and your most-played opponent's games. Signed out, you get Top pro replays instead. Results are only shown on your own games, so a pro or friend's game is never spoiled.

Live#

A curated wall of SC2 streams, embedded on click with chat alongside. The rail filters by race and rank, so "show me Zerg GMs who are live right now" is two clicks, and the thumbnail-first cards keep more streams on screen at once. Streamer identity (race, rank) is resolved server-side against the pro rating tables rather than trusting stream titles.

When site events are live (a tournament with a linked broadcast), they surface here too.

Replays#

The unified replay archive: the site's whole public replay corpus in one searchable, endlessly-scrolling table. Sources mix here on purpose: harvested pro ladder games, user uploads shared to the community pool, and tournament games whose events made them public. Click a row and the game opens in the The replay viewer.

The table's column heads are its filters: Players, Map, Source, Matchup, Length, Rating and Age. Press a head to filter by it; an active filter shows as a chip in its head with its own ✕, and Clear filters resets them all. Rating and Age also sort. A mod game's rating is its mod ladder's Elo, marked as such; everything else is Blizzard MMR. My replays switches the table to your own uploads (with a Result column), and Upload adds more.

Where VODs and events went#

The VODs and Events pages are retired. A pro's tournament VODs still show on their profile in the Stats lane's Rankings (Ranks and the leaderboard). Events live on the Compete lane's Tournaments hub, with its calendar: native Vespene events you can join, and the wider scene's events next to them. There an event with no confirmed start time shows TBA, never an invented clock time. See Playing in tournaments.

Watching together#

Replays support co-watch lobbies: watch the same replay in sync with friends, with shared telestrator ink, which turns the archive into review-session material. Start one from the replay viewer and send the invite link; the details live in The replay viewer.
