Leaderboard, player cards and match history

Where to see standings and games on the Patch Clash ladder. The LEADERBOARD tab and the full board pop-out with its Board, Replays and Feed tabs, what a player card shows (rating per race, graph, history, build orders, replays), and your own HISTORY tab with the buttons to contest a result or report a player.

The Patch Clash ladder keeps every result public in two places: the leaderboard (standings) and player cards (one player's books and games). Your own games, with the controls to challenge them, live in the HISTORY tab. This is separate from Vespene's pro leaderboard (Ranks and the leaderboard).

The LEADERBOARD tab#

Inside the ranked screen's room, LEADERBOARD shows the whole ranked board:

  • The header counts ranked books ("N ranked").
  • A LIVE / PROV toggle. LIVE ranks by shown ratings, the way the board stands today. PROV shows where placement players will land once their ten games are done. See Ratings, placement and leagues.
  • A search box over names and battletags that finds anyone on the board.
  • Each row: rank, league crest, race, rating (with a grey provisional figure when it differs), and win-loss (with draws when there are any).
  • League dividers: a heading where each league starts and a lighter line where each sub-rank starts, so you can see exactly where Diamond 1 begins and ends.
  • Click any row to open that player's card.

Only books with at least one game appear. Each race book is its own row, so a player ranked on two races appears twice.

The Leaderboard door#

The Leaderboard door on the toolbar opens a larger pop-out with three tabs. It refreshes itself every minute while open.

Board#

The full board as a sortable table: Rank, Player, Race, Rating, Peak, W-L, Win % (draws excluded) and Streak. Sort by rank, rating, peak, win rate or streak. Search finds names and battletags. League dividers appear in rank order once the board holds at least 20 books. Clicking a row opens the player card inside the pop-out with a Back to board button; Escape steps back.

Replays#

Recent games worth watching: up to 30 finished ranked matches from the last 48 hours with a public replay, ordered by the weaker player's pre-match rating (so a game between two strong players beats a stomp), then by the average rating, then by recency. Filter by matchup chips or search. Click a card to watch. This is the "watch while you wait" shelf.

Feed#

Every result, newest first, 60 at a time with Load more: "Winner +d beat Loser -d", with badges for New peak, win streaks ("N in a row"), Upset (a gap of 250 or more) and Big upset (400 or more). Draws read "A drew with B". An unranked player shows "unranked" instead of a rating change. Show both build orders expands a match to both players' builds when its replay is public.

The chat's Summary button on a result line opens this tab with that match already expanded.

Player cards#

Click a board row, or your own rating on the command bar, to open a player card. (A name in the chat opens a smaller name card instead.)

  • Header: level chip, name, battletag, and board rank (or "Unranked").
  • Race books: one button per race with its rating and games. The card opens on the race the player has played most.
  • Stats for the selected book: rating (with the "P" provisional marker and games left during placement), peak (a dash during placement), record with win rate, current streak, games played.
  • XP bar: level and XP to the next level. See Clash XP and the season prize pool.
  • Rating graph: the rating after every rated game on that book, with All, 28d and 7d windows. Voided games are left out.
  • Match history: 40 games at a time with Load more. Each row shows the result, the rating change (or "Unranked"), both races, the opponent with their pre-match rating, the map and when.
  • Build orders: click a game row to load both players' build orders from the replay. Games longer than ten minutes are captioned "first 10:00".
  • Replay buttons: watch on Vespene, open in your SC2 client, or download the file.

Build orders and replays only appear when the replay is public (and not taken down by an admin). Otherwise the card says "The replay for this game is private" or "No replay was uploaded for this game". Your own private replays follow the same rule on your public card; your full library is the Games view of the study desk (STUDY, then DESK). See The study desk.

On your own card you also get Show me on the ladder as, to display one of your other verified Battle.net characters instead of your BattleTag name. See Queueing and matchmaking.

Your HISTORY tab#

HISTORY (signed in) lists your 30 most recent ladder matches. Older games are on your player card.

  • A verdict: Win, Loss, Draw, Voided or Live.
  • Your rating change (or "Unranked").
  • You and your opponent with the ratings you each came in with, the matchup, the map, the date, and your rating after the game.
  • A Summary button and the replay buttons, or "Replay is private" / "No replay uploaded".
  • For a game held by the replay check: "Result pending. No rating moves until a moderator confirms it."

Contesting a result or reporting a player#

Two buttons sit on each row, with one caption above the list stating both time limits:

Button For Time limit
Result is wrong A completed match whose recorded result is wrong 72 hours after the match
Report player Conduct: griefing, abuse, a suspicious account 14 days, completed or voided matches

Both ask for a short note saying what happened, and a second confirming press. You can have one open report of each kind per match.

Filing never moves a rating. A moderator reviews it and either rules or dismisses it. A ruling (award a win, record a draw, or void) is applied properly: both players' ratings, records and Clash XP are reversed and re-applied as if the game had gone that way. A ruling closes any open result reports on that match; conduct reports stay open until handled.

A match that is still live cannot be ruled on, and games held by the replay check are ruled from the moderators' REVIEW tab instead. See Fair play: voids, strikes, AFK and disputes.

For moderators#

Ladder moderators see extra controls in HISTORY: a Whole ladder / My games switch, filters (All, Finished, Voided, Live), a player search, who filed each report, and the ruling buttons Award (player), Record a draw, Void game and Dismiss. A moderator can never rule on a match they played. The REVIEW tab lists every held game with its reason, the reported winner, replay buttons and a note field, with Confirm, Award and Void, each needing a second press.
